Seriously, though, let's remember to pray for God's intervention in the fires and for the safety of all of "our people" who are there, as well as for the firefighters. We serve a BIG God. He's even bigger than these awful fires. We need to "stand in the gap" before Him on behalf of all of the people who are in the middle of this battle, and who are exhausted and overwhelmed. Sometimes too exhausted and overwhelmed to pray on behalf of themselves. For whatever reason, God has chosen to work through the prayers of His people, so our part is to be faithful to pray and to trust Him. Let's watch Him be amazing.
Let Jenna know we are praying, and keep us posted.
