Me and Steve were having a conversation the other night and the topic came up about how most people end up "dating their parents" and he said "which makes me think of us".
I laughed. And then really thought about it. Guys. It's so true.
We can't escape it. Steve has so much of my dad in him.
Yes, they are VERY different in some ways but it is funny how many times he does things that are EXACTLY what my dad would do or say.
I guess it makes sense, we grow up with those people, it's what we are used to, it's familiar and comfortable. I just never really thought about it before.
What do you guys think? Do people end up with people like their parents?
