Music is life

Today i realized something. I AM ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with music. Now i know this doesn't sound like something i have just realized today, and ok in all honesty its not. BUT it is something i had temporarily forgot how much i NEED music, i think without it i would go insane and my life would suck every second.
Recently I(actually a friend of mine) found a new artist i really like quite a lot..his name..Foy Vance, i think everyone should look up this wonderfully talented artist and let your ears get a treat!!

So i know my last post was kind of depressing, but today i had a really good day. I have a new perspective on things. I went to the beach today and just laid out, listened to the waves and soaked up the sun. It was the perfect day. I finally let God speak to me about all this stuff going on. HE is the one i define myself in, no one else. And HE sent me out here for a reason, He is not going to let this be a wasted trip, if I will let him work and do with it what he was planning. I am not letting people ruin this trip for me. I am going to live everyday from here on out for me and God, and to the fullest! Thanks God for the beach, and the healing it brings!

Home please

Have you ever been so shocked with people? Completely blown away by how rude they can be? Well lets just say I am experiencing that a lot lately. In all honesty I am so frustrated right now!! I just dont understand why people act the way they do. I have never been this lonely before..home, thats where i want to go.

First hour

Today i had a fun day! I had a really good Chinese lunch, then i went to josh's and watched the finale of American Idol(very fun), listened to some very quality music and had ice cream..it was a good time. Then I had my first hour of work!! I just got a tour of the shop, where everything is, what everything is, the meaning behind things etc...some cash register training, all the goods! It was super fun, the owners are amazing and the girls i met on staff tonight were super sweet so i cant wait to actually start!! I go in tomorrow for two hours for more training and getting familiar with things!! Its such a sweet place!! I am just thanking God for such a great place to work!!!!

Coffee, music, jobs, McDonalds

SOOO....I got that job at the coffee shop!!! I am so stoked!! God is good.. So i start tomorrow!! That will give me something to do with myself. The start of this little adventure im on has been a little less fun than expected...Guess its time for McDonalds(only a chosen few will understand that). I have been in Cali for almost a week now and have not been to the beach once, this saddens me. Oh, flaky people bother me...hopefully i will make some good friends at The Neighborhood Cup. This is all for now...

Small rooms and Starbucks

I moved in to my room...hmmm lets just say its on the smaller side...but honestly its totally fine, i have gotten used to it. The people i am living with are really great! Amazing nice people. I feel at home already, which is a huge blessing. Last night i just drove around Mission Viejo for about an hour, got some starbucks, rolled the windows down and turned up the music. All the perfect songs were played..it was a good night. Today I have my second interview with that coffee shop. Hopefully I get the job. Thats all I got for now..life is good.

opps

I slacked off...OK SO....We did make it California!! Finally!! WHOOHOO...We got in around 8 and had pizza with Jonathan and Ryanne and Josh!! YEAH...and then we watched The Office finale of course..and Lost The Answers...I must say it might have been the most fun I have ever had just watching T.V. Then on Friday, me and mom drove around Mission Viejo. We went and checked out where i am going to live..lets just say it was not what i was expecting. But I am not going to complain because God blessed me with a cheap place to live, and without it I would not even be here. I also got a job interview for today at an amazing coffee shop that has live music, swing dancing, art exhibits, poetry readings etc... So i am really excited and I am praying I get the job, we will find out. Then the five of us went to dinner, of course, one of the most amusing dinners i have had. Today Jonathan and Ryanne leave to go out of a town for a few days, so I'm not sure what we are going to do...maybe the beach? But i move in tomorrow...kinda nervous, but so excited...

Day three

Today was day three of the trip. We got up and left Amarillo around 11 and went to the mall. Headed to Albuquerque to stay with the grandparents around 1 and got in around 5 or so! Only a four hour drive today so not bad but the hellish drive comes tomorrow, 12 hours, dear God help me!! We went to see my great grandparents!! Both are such an inspiration to me, amazing Godly people who have been through so much. They have been married for 70 years!!!!!!!! So amazing!! Anyway can you tell I love them? Then had a sweet dinner and watched American Idol Results with my grandparents!! BLAKE IS IN THE FINALS! WHOOHOOO!! But I was completely and absolutely shocked that Melinda went home!! Actually I wasn't cause my goofy friend Adam told me ahead of time!! ( ;) hehe Adam, dont feel bad I still love you! But if you do it to me next week our friendship is over!) So now I'm just sitting here about to crash, we are leaving at 7 in the morning..sigh...there is a thunderstorm outside and I love it, one of my favorite things EVER!!!! ok well tomorrow should be interesting but our destination is totally worth it!!!!

Day one and two

Today was day two of our road trip. But I didn't get to post about day one so it will be a combo post!!!! Monday morning my mom and I left for Amarillo, Tx. It was a six hour drive! blah!! Lots of good music, and naps! Once we got to my aunts house it was time for me to freshen up and head to Portales, New Mexico to see Lawrence. So i jumped in the car and made the two hour trip!!! And after a year, it was so good to see him. I had a lot of fun there and am planning on going back. I'm gunna give a little shout out to lawrences band Emeralds of Chaos!! I got to sit in on a jam session and it was great!! So fun!! Well my trip there was pretty much just getting to hang out with him again and i loved it! So that is kinda my day one and two combined. I drove back to Amarillo at about 4 and got back just in time to watch my obsession Black(opps Blake, there happy, adam and grace!!) Lewis on American Idol. So, so far, so good. I'll keep you posted!!!!!!

California here i come

I found out today that i am for sure, 100% going to California in one week. The family I am going to be renting a room from called today and we worked out all the details. They sound like a really great family and I am excited to get to know them. Me and my mom and probably my friend Gabi will be driving out there. We leave Monday. We(well, I) will be stopping in New Mexico along the way to see an old friend and then I will be spending about a month in Mission Viejo!!!! I'm so excited! I really feel like God has given me this opportunity and that something amazing is going to come of it. I can't wait to find out what it is! So keep checking on here for updates and of course pics!!!!

Another Witt

SO....I am going to be an aunt! And...i am pretty freaking excited about it! We have all been wanting it to happen for so long and now it has! Kyle and Sherah told us last night at dinner. And then they told the rest of the family today. It is so amazing!! Another little Witt is coming and its going to be the cutest most spoiled baby of all!!
